I’m Very Sorry – Carter Efe Apologises To Stonebwoy Over Disrespectful Comments

Nigerian streamer and content creator Carter Efe has rendered an apology to Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy over comments he made that were seen as disrespectful.

Carter Efe posted the apology on X on November 3, 2026, asking Stonebwoy to forgive him for his remarks. In the post, he stated that his idol Davido had advised him to apologise.

The streamer wrote that he was asking for forgiveness and made reference to Davido’s instruction for him to apologise to Stonebwoy.

He also went on to apologise to Davido, describing him as his great idol and expressing regret over his actions.

The apology follows backlash that trailed Carter Efe’s recent visit to Ghana, where he made statements about Stonebwoy during a livestream. His comments, which included comparing himself to the dancehall musician and mocking his physical condition, were widely criticized by fans who described them as disrespectful.

The issue gained more attention after Davido publicly told Carter Efe during a video call that he needed to apologise to Stonebwoy. Carter Efe had promised to do so and said he would kneel down in Morocco to beg Stonebwoy.

With his latest post, Carter Efe appears to be taking steps to mend relations with both Stonebwoy and Davido after the controversy.
