MASEM by Agyiewaa
MASEM by Agyiewaa
Agyiewaa steps in with MASEM and the mugshot artwork isn’t for aesthetics. Released 3 July 2026. 1 song, 3 minutes. Produced by KARPI. E tag. This is Ghanaian Afrobeats with a case file.
MASEM means “my matter” or “my issue” in Twi. Agyiewaa is putting her business on record. The orange jumpsuit, the charge board, the name AGYEIWAA stamped at the top. She’s either confessing or accusing. That’s the pull. You stream to find out which.
KARPI’s production is stripped. Clean drums, moody bass, space for vocals to bleed. Not made for TikTok dances. Made for replay value. Agyiewaa isn’t shouting. She’s stating facts. The E tag is warranted — this is grown-woman music.
2026 Ghana is deep in the alté and emotional Afrobeats pocket. Agyiewaa joins names like Baaba J, Moliy, and Gyakie but with a harder edge. The mugshot concept is deliberate. In a year where everyone wants to look soft, she chose to look wanted. It’s working.
If MASEM is her debut, she’s not here to play safe. 3 minutes, no features, no gimmicks. Just Agyiewaa, KARPI, and a story. If you like Black Sherif’s rawness with Amaarae’s melody, check this. Bigxmotion will update with full lyrics + verse breakdown as they drop.
