O’Kenneth – Easy
O’Kenneth – Easy (Prod. by Twix (Shaun)
*O’Kenneth Keeps It Smooth on “Easy” Prod. by Twix (Shaun)*
O’Kenneth flips the switch on “Easy” and goes melodic over a laid-back beat from Twix (Shaun). After the heavier, drill-heavy tracks like “Mentumi Nka,” this one shows a different side of his range.
The production is light and bouncy, with clean hi-hats, soft keys, and a groove that lets him ride without having to shout over the instrumental. O’Kenneth leans into a sing-rap flow, talking about keeping things stress-free, moving at his own pace, and not letting outside noise mess with his focus. The hook is simple and sticky, built for replay.
What makes “Easy” work is the contrast. It proves he can sit comfortably on melodic Afrobeats/Afropop production without losing the edge and authenticity that made people rock with him in the Asakaa scene. It’s confident, relaxed, and feels like a track for cruising or late-night drives.
If you want to hear O’Kenneth outside of drill mode, “Easy” is the track that shows he’s got versatility.
