R2Bees Return With “Awurade Ay3” and “Two Two”
The legendary Ghanaian duo R2Bees, consisting of Mugeez and Omar Sterling, have officially released a new double-single package comprising “Awurade Ay3” and “Two Two.” Following weeks of anticipation, the Refuse To Be Broke hitmakers return with a single that combines spiritual introspection with contagious Afrobeats intensity, maintaining their position at the vanguard of African music.
R2Bees, known for their ability to mix soulful storytelling and dancefloor-ready songs, demonstrate their versatility on both tracks.
“Awurade Ay3” leans into the duo’s Highlife-influenced roots. Translating to “God Has Done It,” the song is a heartfelt expression of gratitude, testimony, and resilience. Mugeez’s smooth, melodic vocals pair seamlessly with Omar Sterling’s reflective lyricism, resulting in a timeless, feel-good record that resonates across generations.
